mondoarchive doesn't create a bootable UEFI media on Debian 8

Description

As reported on the ML: 

If i boot the CD in 'UEFI' mode, i get:

        error: no such partition.
        Entering rescue mode...
        grub rescue> _

in rescue mode:

        grub rescue> ls
        (hd0) (hd1) (cd0)
        grub rescue> set
        cmdpath=(cd0)/EFI/BOOT
        prefix=(cd0,gpt2)/boot/grub
        root=cd0,gpt2


If i boot it in 'legacy' mode, i get ISOLINUX boot banner and then:

        Failed to load isolinux.c32
        Boot failed: press a key to retry...
