Voici les logs: [TH=32637] libmondo-tools.c->reset_bkpinfo#856: Hi root is mounted at /dev/mapper/VolGroup-LV02

No, Schlomo, that doesn't mean /dev/mapper/VolGroup-LV02 is the root partition. It's just a debugging message.

Relax. It's part of am_I_in_disaster_recovery_mode().

You also need mindi 2.0.6 And if you want help, you *need* to provide your /var/log/mondoarchive.log.

You may also want to read the archive of the ML and read support instrcutions at http://www.mondorescue.org/support.shtml

I already said earlier: Advise: Use -T and -S (man mondoarchive) if it's not sufficient. (and your log is incomplete)

I have 2 servers with mondo-2.2.9-1.rhel4, mindi-2.0.6-1.rhel4 mindi-busybox-1.7.3-1.rhel4.

On one i type mondoarchive and the application is launch. On the other i type mondoarchive and i have imediately an error.

I read many doc on Mondo and you can launch the soft by typing mondoarchive without options.

I would like to know you say that "your log is incomplete" because I have join the file (in /var/log/)

Which one ? If it's the tmp issue, you hae to use command line parameters to solve it for now. (MondoRescue chooses the largest FileSystem available as temp)

I read many doc on Mondo and you can launch the soft by typing mondoarchive without options.

True.

I would like to know you say that "your log is incomplete" because I have join the file (in /var/log/)

I had the impression that the log was really short, so truncated, but I may be wrong. The main issue is mentioned here: Failed to create global tmp directory /bases/EPBPAT1_maj/mondo.tmp.KTSmkH

Can you do that manually and check whether it works or not ?

comment:8 by Elodie, 15 years ago

It doesn't work because /bases/EPBPAT1_maj is a NFS mount in read only. But I can't change permission on this filesystem.

You said "MondoRescue chooses the largest FileSystem available as temp" can I choise an other temp ?

Thanks for help

That explain stuff.

THe only way at the moent is to use the -T (and potentially -S) options on the CLI with all the other options you need as a consequence.

I may propose to add an input box in the curses in order to make it easier, but it's not available yet.

Thanks for help
