Could you update your mindi and mondo version to 1.0.9-2 and 2.0.9-2 respectively ? Andree has made updates for etch that could solve your issue.

I try it but it give me the following error message:

See /var/log/mondo-archive.log for details of backup run.
Checking sanity of your Linux distribution
Mindi --makemountlist /tmp/mountlist.txt.test failed for some reason.
Please run that command by hand and examine /var/log/mindi.log
for more information. Perhaps your /etc/fstab file is insane.
Perhaps Mindi's MakeMountlist() subroutine has a bug. We'll see.

Log file: /var/log/mondo-archive.log
FYI, I have gzipped the log and saved it to /tmp/MA.log.gz
Mondo has aborted.
Execution run ended; result=254
Type 'less /var/log/mondo-archive.log' to see the output log

As said:

"The list's members can help you, if you attach that file to your e-mail."

We need : /var/log/mondo-archive.log /var/log/mindi.log /tmp/MA.log.gz

And do what is written: Mindi --makemountlist /tmp/mountlist.txt.test failed for some reason. Please run that command by hand and examine /var/log/mindi.log for more information.

Milestone: 2.2.1
Status: newassigned

Try adding libfribidi0 package to your distro. It fixes generaly the error on Debian (Cf: http://trac.mondorescue.org/wiki/FAQ Q14)

Could you report back if you still have the issue please ? Could you use the latest 2.2.1 version of mondo (+ 1.2.1 for mindi and 1.2.2 for mindi-busybox) and report back ? Also could you check which version of newt you have please, and also if you have any package libfribidi0 installed ?

Milestone: 2.2.12.2.2

Now that 2.2.2 is officially published on ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org could you check again if this has been solved for good or not ? I'd like to close the bug asap.
