mondoarchive doesn't create multiple images on external USB drive

Description
mondoarchive with 6500MB done on an external harddisk. I must !! take 6500MB because when I take f.e. 1500MB and the image has to be split than I got an error like “harddisk full” even if the partition as 60GB free.
