while doing a mondo restore the cylinder size for the partitions are not the same when the backup was taken.

Configuration: Operating System: CentOs-5.2 Architecture : 64-bit Backup Program : mondo-2.2.8-1.centos5.x86_64.rpm

mindi-2.0.6-1.centos5.x86_64.rpm mindi-busybox-1.7.3-1.rhel5.x86_64.rpm afio-2.4.7-1.x86_64.rpm buffer-1.19-1.x86_64.rpm

Description:

While doing a full restore from the full backup disc , The cylinder size for the hard disk partitions on the new server is different from the cylinder size of the hard disk partitions on the old server before the full backup was taken.Please advice i can i get through with this problem. Thanks in advance

This type of information is not yet backed up (Cf also #198)

In the mean time, you have to refuse letting mondorestore creating the filesystems, and do it manually in another tty. then ask mondorestore to restore your data on that manually created FS.
