#336 reopened enhancement
Pre-mondorestore script option
Reported by: | Dominic | Owned by: | Bruno Cornec |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | normal | Milestone: | |
Component: | mondo | Version: | 2.2.8 |
Severity: | normal | Keywords: | script pre |
Cc: |
Description
i.e. mondoarchive command line option to specify a script to run after the end of the boot and before any mondorestore action.
For example, to start telnetd (if my other feature request is granted :-)).
It would work like -P post-nuke option (IMO '-P' should also be '-post' and there should be new '-pre').

Bruno, hope you see this message. Thanks for making the change!
Does this change allow specifying --pre on the mondoarchive command line or only pre= and post= at the mindi boot prompt? (I only see changes in mindi here.) It would be good to be able to boot mondorestore without any local access (no monitor, keyboard) and still use a pre script.

No additional option available for mondoarchive yet. This was done for a PXE install, where that modifciation is easy. I'll see how to add it to the CLI as well. At the start of mindi in ADDITIONAL_BOOT_PARAMS you can also add it.
Fixed in rev [2255]. Will be in 2.2.9.
