#266 closed enhancement (fixed)
Fedora should be in one repo

Description
Starting with Fedora 7 upstream no longer has the concept of Base and Extras. Mondo should update their Fedora mirrors to reflect this change as well. If everything was consolidated into a Fedora distro directory, which would include a .repo file, that would be the only thing a user would need to pull down manually before using Yum to handle the rest of the Mondo installation. This should make for a better user experience for those getting started with Mondo on Fedora.

I think the main thing is the rpms currently in ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/fedora-extras/ that are required to run mondo. Would it be possible to include these in the repo?

Ok. Let me explain:
rpms currently in ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/fedora-extras/ where provided to the Fedora upstream project in order to integrate mondo in Fedora. Cf:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=187317 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=187318 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=449037
But now, I'm nore working on having direct good packages, and I think I should remove that fedora-extras dir (it doesn't contain any repo file as I generated them more recently).
Hope this clarifies Fedora integration (long history, and no success up to now, when I've done gentoo in parallel with way less problems.)

In fact there is one repo file per fedora (and other rpm based distro) version now automatically created. e.g.: ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/fedora/8/mondorescue.repo
Is it what you're looking for ?
