mindi iso created image fails to boot with RHEL Kernel 2.6.9-55

After updating the RedHat kernel to version 2.6.9-55, a new Mindi boot image no longer works when booting on identical hardware. This used to work just fine with the 2.6.9-42 kernel and it still does when I use the images created with the older kernel version. The symptoms are similar to ticket #172.

This is on the Compaq Proliant DL-580 line of servers running RHEL v.4. I've updated to the latest versions of Mondo/Mindi, but same results. I have the mindi log if needed.

It has something to do with the EIP, here is the message from the boot attempt:
