currently mindi complains that /etc/raidtab is not found

btw: I'm using debian sarge with kernel 2.6 and mdadm

I just wanted to ask whether mdadm and dmraid (dmraid-1.0.0.) is supported with Mondo over raidtools and if so how to incorporate this support into the the mondorescue image.

You could always add them to /etc/deplist.txt so

that mindi pick them

up. But we need to modify mondo so that it uses

them to archive info of

your raid conf and restore it correctly.

That it's not forgotten. Even if I can't promise it

will be done soon.

On Proliant systems, mondorescue could use a tool such as hpacucli to store information on the logical volumes available at backup time. It could then use it during restore time to recreate beforehands the logical volumes.

Same is true for BIOS configuration, ...
