#577 | fixed | Mondorestore miscalculates restore partition sizes
Description |
Hi, I am testing Mondorescue on a HP Proliant DL380 server running RHEL 5.7 64-bit. Mondo version is 3.0.0. I have 1 disk on the SmartArray /dev/cciss/c0d0. There are 3 paritions p1 is /boot, p2 is swap and p3 is a LVM partition and all other system file systems are created in the LVM. On restore, Mondo calculates p3 as 0, p1 as 0 and allocates the rest of the disk to p2. The mondorestore log and the mountlist are attached. |

#575 | invalid | Kernel panic cannot mount root on (hd1,0)
Description |
Installed packages mondo-3.0.0-1.rhel5.x86_64.rpm mindi-2.1.0-1.rhel5.x86_64.rpm mindi-busybox-1.7.3-1.rhel5.x86_64.rpm buffer-1.19-4.rhel5.x86_64.rpm afio-2.5-1.rhel5.x86_64.rpm Did a mondoarchive (log file attached). When booting from DVD got kernel panic as reported by others on not being able to mount with ext2 or iso9660 root partition on disk (hd1,0). Boot options of ramdisk did not solve the problem. Also tried acpi=on and acpi_mcfg_max_pci_bus_num=on without success also. Any advice? Regards |

Description |
Hello I try to use mondoarchive under RedHat7.3. I have downloaded the last version :
mondoarchive is replaced by i586-redhat-linux-mondoarchive? mondorestore is replaced by i586-redhat-linux-mondorestore? I try to run i586-redhat-linux-mondoarchive instead but it failed after the command 'which mondorestore' that doesn't exists! The binary name were correct in
but were changed after! |
