#286 | invalid | Cannot restore using mondorestore | ||
Description |
I'm successfully able to perform a backup of a test directory and only encounter one error. It says that it couldn't create the bootdisk but that I can burn the iso if I'd like. So I burn the iso to cd then try to restore my directory/files that I backed up. I run mondorestore then am prompted to enter the tape/cd/boot floppy. I enter the tape and hit enter. It asks me where I want to read from so I select the tape drive. It asks me to remove the cd then asks me if /dev/st0 is my tape streamer. I say yes then it says that it failed to find config/archives and prompts me to choose another source. If I say yes then choose CD-R disks, it thinks for a second then says "recovered mondo-restore.cfg" and prompts me to insert CDR #1 and press enter even though I backed up to tape. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Emmanuel |
