Tried to test following rpms because of ticket 172:
mondo-2.2.5-1.rhel4, mindi-2.0.0-1.rhel4,mindi-busybox-1.7.3-1.rhel4
kernel 2.6.9-55.0.9.ELsmp

Was not able to boot from a new created dvd. During boot the prcess falls back to floppy mode. (... Your archives are probably find but your tape stramer and/or CD_ROM are excentric). The dvdwriter is a TEAC DV-W28ECW, the driver is ide-cdrom version 4.61. With former releases I was able to start from dvd.
