Initial import of the documentation in SGML format.
Since the original SGML file and LyX files have not been published,
thus not preserved, I'll restart from scratch by importing the HTML
doc converted into SGML/DocBook.
Then real work begins ;-)

55backup against your original file system.</para>
56<para>FYI, no bad archives have been created since May 2000. Having
57said that, I would still encourage you to run Compare before
58trusting the backups.</para>
59<para>To view the file differences, look at the file
60'/tmp/changed.txt'. Normal differences include logs and other
61dynamic system files that changed during the time of the backup
62process. If only a few files differ - e.g. files in /var, files
63ending in '&amp;#732;', logs, temporary files, /etc/mtab,
64/etc/adjtimex - then you know the archives are good. Your logs will
65change over time, too. Bear in mind that a difference between the
66backup and the live copy does not&nbsp;indicate a flaw in Mondo. It
67indicates that you or your filesystem changed the files, so the
68backup is no longer 100% up to date. However, that is inevitable,
69as your filesystem changes from moment to moment (which is why you
70back it up regularly).</para>
